Prayer Request

What a wondrous Being is the God of Scripture!

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.
Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the
eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
    Hebrews 4:13

God is omniscient.
He knows everything:
  everything possible,
  everything actual,
  all events,
  all creatures,
of the past, the present, and the future.

He is perfectly acquainted with every detail in the
life of every being in heaven, in earth, and in hell.
Nothing escapes His notice
, nothing can be
hidden from Him, nothing is forgotten by Him.
His knowledge is perfect.

He never errs.
He never changes.
He never overlooks anything.

God not only knows whatever has happened in the past
in every part of His vast domains; and He is not only
thoroughly acquainted with everything that is now
transpiring throughout the entire universe—but He is
also perfectly cognizant of every event, from the least
to the greatest, that ever will happen in the ages to
come! God’s knowledge of the future is as complete
as is His knowledge of the past and the present; and
that, because the future depends entirely upon Himself.
God has Himself designed whatever shall yet be, and
what He has designed, must be effectuated. God’s
knowledge does not arise from things because they
are or will be—but because He has ordained them to
be! Yes, such is the God with whom we have to do!

“You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my
thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my
lying down; You are familiar with all my ways. Before a
word is on my tongue—You know it completely, O Lord!”
     Psalm 139:2-4

How solemn is this fact: nothing can be concealed from
God! “For I know the things that come into your mind,
every one of them” (Ezekiel 11:5). Though He is invisible
to us—we are not so to Him. Neither the darkness of night,
the closest curtains, nor the deepest dungeon—can hide
any sinner from the eyes of Omniscience! Men would strip
Deity of His omniscience if they could. They wish there
might be . . .
  no Witness of their sins,
  no Searcher of their hearts,
  no Judge of their deeds!

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we read the words above we are once again reminded that You miss NOTHING  in our lives. Who is this pardoning God we serve? An immortal, and invisible all knowing God… these petitons we bring to you God we bring with faith. Faith that you will work in the hearts and lives of those mentioned in accordance with your perfect will. In the name of Christ Amen.

-     Our marriages Lord may they grow to reflect Christ and the  Church
-    the salvation of our loved ones and friends
-      my walk with God to become more diligent and closer to thee
that we would be the wife that God would have me
   to be.

Eternal Father, it is amazing love, that Thou hast sent Thy Son to suffer in my stead, that Thou hast added the Spirit to teach, comfort, guide, that Thou hast allowed the ministry of angels to wall me round; all heaven subserves the welfare of a poor worm. Permit Thy unseen servants to be ever active on my behalf, and to rejoice when grace expands in me. Suffer them never to rest until my conflict is over, and I stand victorious on salvation’s shore. Grant that my proneness to evil, deadness to good, resistance to Thy Spirit’s motions, may never provoke Thee to abandon me. May my hard heart awake Thy pity, not Thy wrath, And if the enemy gets an advantage through my corruption, let it be seen that heaven is mightier than hell, that those for me are greater than those against me. Arise to my help in richness of covenant blessings, keep me feeding in the pastures of Thy strengthening Word, searching Scripture to find Thee there.

If my waywardness is visited with a scourge, enable me to receive correction meekly, to bless the reproving hand, to discern the motive of rebuke, to respond promptly, and do the first work. Let all Thy fatherly dealings make me a partaker of Thy holiness. Grant that in every fall I may sink lower on my knees, and that when I rise it may be to loftier heights of devotion. May my every cross be sanctified, every loss be gain, every denial a spiritual advantage, every dark day a light of the Holy Spirit, every night of trial a song.

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen

“All of us have become like something unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; all of us wither like a leaf, and our iniquities carry us away like the wind!” Isaiah 64:6

Holy Father, Almighty God,
We feel our weakness, our ignorance, our deep corruptions. We meekly knock at mercy’s gate. Regard us in tender love—for Jesus’ sake. Bend down Your ear—and grant Your smile.

We are blind—be our light.

We are ignorant—be our wisdom.

We are steeped in selfishness—pluck all SELF out of us.

In the deep sense of our guilt—we fly for refuge into the wounded side of Jesus! Be merciful, be merciful unto us—whose only hope is in Your unfailing mercy.

Our sins rise higher than the heavens—but Your merits in our behalf surpass the very heaven of heavens!

Our unrighteousness would weigh us down to hell—but Your glorious righteousness exalts us to Your heavenly throne!

All things in us call for our damnation—but all things in You demand our forgiveness.

We appeal, then, from Your throne of perfect justice—to Your throne of boundless grace!

Blessed Jesus, we hide ourselves in the sure covert of Your wrath-appeasing wounds!

Grant us to hear Your voice assuring us: that by Your stripes we are healed; that You have been bruised for our iniquities; that You have been made sin for us—that we might have Your divine righteousness; and that all our vile and grievous iniquities, are forgiven and buried in the ocean of Your sin-concealing blood!

We are guilty—yet pardoned!

We are lost in ourselves—yet fully saved in You!

Enable us to cling firmly to Your cross—even as we now seek safety and repose beneath its sin-atoning shelter!

Let floods of sustaining grace from Your inexhaustible treasury, enrich our poor and weary souls.

If the enemy approaches, quicken our steps to flee into the wounds of Jesus as our sure refuge! Sheltered in the ark of safety, may we cease to tremble at all alarms. May the good Shepherd lead us this day into the green pastures of His refreshing Word, and cause us to lie down beside the rivers of His divine comforts.

These prayers we humbly offer in the name of Jesus Christ, and trusting only in His saving merits. Amen.
